Tyree Levaghnn Williams

Tyree Levaghnn Williams, age 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, GA, following a brief illness. A proud native of Bulloch County, he was born on March 21, 1974, to the late James Edward Williams and the late Madie Yvonne Williams.

Tyree was known for his loving spirit and youthful heart. He found joy in reading and collecting comics, watching Marvel animations, and following professional wrestling. His love for his children, siblings, other family, and friends was immeasurable, and he was always recognized for the warm smile he carried wherever he went.

A graduate of Statesboro High School, Class of 1992, Tyree learned the trade of masonry from his father at an early age and dedicated over 20 years to perfecting his craft. Later in life, he embraced new career opportunities, working with Walmart Distribution Center and Great Dane.

Tyree was preceded in death by his parents, Madie Yvonne Alston and James Edward Williams; his sister, Rena Collier; and his brother, Marcellus "Marc" Ross.

Tyree leaves to cherish his memories, his children, who he loved relentlessly, Deshauna, Xavier, and Jalisa Williams; his stepfather, Jessie (Ammie) Alston Sr.; stepmothers, Pamela Williams and Tonja Williams; his siblings Rethonia (Rogderick) Worthy, Pastor Germain A. Williams, Lynne Michelle (Rashad) Lipsey, Wanda Roberts, Montrell Pixler, Monica Williams, Dorale Bell, Titus Williams, Nakisha Williams, Ayshia Williams, Brandon Chavers, Marquis Duke Mikell, Kesaun Tre Polk, Damien Johnson, Wyee Williams, Ka-Neisha Williams, Nicollete McBride, LaQuanda Riley, Jessie Lee (Tabitha) Alston Jr., Eric L Alston, Donnie Lee (Angie) Alston, Kevin Thomas, and Calondra Thomas.  He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Williams will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the family to receive guests for the family visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services to honor the life of Tyree will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at AGAPE Worship Center, 810 W Grady Street, Statesboro, with Bishop Anthony Chavers, officiating and Elder Donald Chavers, Jr., pastor/presiding.

Burial will follow at the Lee Hodge Cemetery, Portal, GA.

Pallbearers will be Robert Polk, Shawn Alson, Aaron Kline, Quincy Scott Jr., Cousins and Friends

The Repast will be held at Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center, 4235 Willow Hill Rd, Portal, GA 30450 following the committal services.
