Patricia Ann Bowen-Jowers

Matthew H. Lovett & Son’s Funeral Home announces the passing of Ms. Patricia Ann Bowen-Jowers, age 79 of Savannah. Ms. Jowers passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA after a brief illness.

Ann received her education from the Chatham County Public School System, graduating from Groves High School where she was a majorette in the band. She furthered her education to become a licensed beautician. She was also a caregiver with Home Instead Senior Care in Savannah for over 10 years.

Patricia Ann is preceded in death by a son, Steve Oliver, her parents, the late Thomas Jefferson Bowen and Druscilla Miller Bowen Banner, and a brother the late Donald Thomas Bowen. 

She is survived by two sons, Jim Oliver and David Jowers of Savannah, GA; two granddaughters, Alicia Oliver and Josie Allen, a cousin who was like a parent, Glenn (Mary) Edenfield of Dawsonville, GA; a close family friend Mrs. Christina Roberson and family of Pembroke, GA; and Jaime and Stan, and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Patricia Jowers will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Little Horse Creek Baptist Church in Rocky Ford, GA.
