Princess Mariah Renee Jackson, age 4, of Statesboro, GA passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2023 at the Memorial Health Children's Hospital in Savannah, GA.
Mariah "Tweety Bird" as she was nicknamed by her dad, Dewayne, was a joy to everyone and she never met a stranger. She was a very loving little girl who would often tell her family members how much she "really, really loved" them. Mariah loved to be outdoors, often picking flowers and giving them away. Mariah loved the color blue.
Mariah's memories will forever be cherished by her mother, Ashley Harris of Statesboro, GA; her father, Dewayne Jackson of Statesboro, GA; her brother, Javon Terrell Jackson, her sisters, Ajanae Jackson, Samiyah Jackson, La'myiah Butler, Laniah Patterson and Janiyah Royal all of Statesboro, GA; maternal grandparents, Tonya (James) Keith of Daytona, FL; Johnny (Kathy) Harris of Vero Beach, FL; paternal grandparents, Sebrina (James) Mincey of Statesboro, GA; Wayne Jackson of Statesboro, GA; maternal great grandmother, Jean Keith of ft. Pierce, FL; and paternal great grandmother, Grace Millen of Statesboro, GA.
A private family viewing & visitation for Princess Mariah will be Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the Joanna Holland Fields visitation room at the Matthew H. Lovett & Son’s Funeral Home.
The Funeral Services for Princess Mariah will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Hodges Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. John Harmon, Pastor/officiating. There will be a private family viewing after the eulogy. Per her mother's wishes, final disposition will be by cremation.
Pallbearers will be Destiny Bellamy, Jayla Lane, Antoinette McNair and Dymari Ross.
