Jabari Násir Walker

Mr. Jabari Násir Walker, age 17 passed into eternal rest, Sunday evening, August 20, 2023, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.

Jabari was born November 13, 2005, in Statesboro to Mrs. Shatheria Young Lewis and Mr. Ray Walker, Jr. He was educated in the public schools of Bulloch County and was currently a senior at Statesboro High School where he would have been graduating with the class of 2024. Jabari was also currently joint enrolled at Ogeechee Technical College where he was studying to become a certified welder. He was a laid-back young man where he found joy in listening to his favorite music, scrolling social media, and hanging out with his family and friends.

Jabari is preceded in death by a sister, the late Serray Walker, an uncle, the late Jatavier "Jock" Jackson and great grandfather, the late Eugene Johnson.

His memories will forever be cherished by parents, Shatheria (Eric) Lewis and Ray Walker, Jr., all of Statesboro, GA; his siblings, Reagan Walker, Chance Young, Payton Lewis, Savant Walker, and Azina Walker, all of Statesboro, GA; maternal grandparents, Sylvia Bryant, of Statesboro, GA and Shelton Prince of Lynn, MA; maternal great grandparents, Eula Mae Young and Semmie Young, both of Statesboro, GA; paternal grandparents, Pastor Mattie Brinson and Ray Walker, Sr., both of Statesboro, GA; paternal great grandmother, Frances Walker Johnson, and his godmother, Kenya Williams, all of Statesboro, GA.

The public viewing for Jabari Walker will be Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 12noon until 4p.m. The family will be receiving guests for the family visitation from 5pm to 8pm in the Joanna M. Fields visitation room at the Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Jabari will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Agape Worship Center with the Rev. Lisa Deloach, Officiating and the Pastor Donald Chavers, Jr., Pastor/Presiding.

Interment will follow at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
