Earl A. Archbold

Mr. Earl Antonio Archbold, age 70, of Statesboro passed into eternal rest, Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Facility in Statesboro after an extended illness.

Earl was born November 12, 1952 in Isla de Providencia, historically Old Providence, and generally known as Providencia Island, Columbia, South America to his parents, Earl P. Archbold and Florence Archbold Robinson. He moved from Columbia to the United States where he thrived and made it his home for over 30 years. He graduated from Sea Captain School in Medellin, Columbia and worked over the blue seas as an Able Seaman all of his life.

Earl leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolin Pomare-Archbold and three sons, Earl Xavier Archbold of Medellin, Columbia; Rogger Edward Archbold of Miami, FL; and Justis Markel Archbold of Statesboro, GA; two brothers, Hueton Archbold and Felix Archbold, two sisters, Carolyn Archbold and Margie Archbold all of Miami, FL; and a multitude of other family members and friends  who gave him strength throughout his final years.
